DISCOVERY OFA CERAMIC PAINTING IN TRIBUTE TO D. Sebastian Garcia Vazquez

The Herreris Association has collaborated with the Andévalo Association of the Countryside and the town of Puebla de Guzmán, organizers of the Third Conference of Andévalo Heritage.
Specifically addressed was the discovery of a ceramic painting showing a portrait of D. Sebastián García Vázquez in front of his house in Cabezo Road, no.72 in Puebla de Guzmán.
The ceramic painting was done by the artist Antonio Linares Villamartin (Cadiz), and is 60cm x 80 cm in size.
The discovery was celebrated with a gathering on the16/11/2012 at 8 in the evening. The celebrations were lead by the Mayor of Puebla de Guzman, Antonio Beltran, the son of D. Sebastian Garcia, Agustin Garcia, and Herrerias Association president, José Suárez.
Despite inclement weather, the event received massive support from neighbours and friends of D. Sebastian Garcia.
